Can we go to the park today, please?!?! Posted by Picasa

When is it going to cool down?

How long is this unbearable heat going to last? I can’t take any more! I get ready in the morning and I step out into the heat and humidity, and I look like a wet dog. (Sorry Izzy, no offense!) I want the cool winter days of South Florida to come now! I look forward to being outside again without the sweat beads collecting on my upper lip. I know that Izzy and Michael want the cool weather too. She loves going to the park on Sundays and Michael likes having any excuse to put the top down on his Jeep. Well, until those days come you can find me inside!

My little brother, or should I say my BIG Brother! Posted by Picasa

My Baby Brother

I remember the day my parents told my sister and I that we would be getting a baby brother. My sister was so excited. I on the other hand was not as eager. I didn't want someone else to come into my life that would take my place in the family. If I had know then what I know now, then I would not have been so sad. Truly my sadness did not last long. As I watched my mother’s stomach grow larger, so did my excitement. I've watched my brother grown, learn, and turn into a real man. I remember taking him to kindergarten. It is hard to believe that he is now a senior in high school. I hope he enjoys the years in front of him, because they are some of the best ever! I wanted everyone (especially my brother) to know what he means to me! I love you, Bri!

My wonderful class from last year! I sure do miss my already trained babies! Posted by Picasa

Finding Time

It is remarkable how quickly life can change once schools starts back up for the year. All summer long, I was relaxed, and enjoying my time. But now I am thrown back into ciaos, meetings, paper work and no free time. I know, not everyone gets such breaks. I am not complaining about my free time or my time back at work. I am saying am that it is tough to get back into it. I have a really neat class this year, with only one major problem. I hope that the situation becomes easier, or else I will have to be checked into rehab. I wish all the teachers and students at Castle Hill Elementary to have an outstanding year.
