In the Name of Love

There are many things people do for each other in the name of love! For instance, I go to numerous baseball games, listen to computer jargon, and get excited about Jeeps. I do this because I know that Michael enjoys it. In return Michael makes sacrifices for me. To date Michael’s biggest sacrifice was going to Target to get engagement pictures taken. He wasn’t crazy about it, but he did it because he loves me! Michael wasn’t sure what to expect the day of our appointment. He was surprised that the photographer took more than one shot. She had us in a variety of poses. When she asked him to lie on his stomach, he thought she was joking. After he realized she was serious, he graciously did as she asked. The photographer then had me sit down beside him and we loving stared into each others eyes. We all had a good laugh at that point. Needless to say I had to buy him lunch and promise not to complain while I watched baseball. I also had to promise that no one would ever see that picture. Love is definitely a lesson in give and take!

An Escape from Reality

Michael and I went to the Florida Keys this weekend for a friends wedding. We had such a great time. It was nice to see friends that we had not seen in awhile. The location of the wedding was beautiful. The food and drinks were never ending. Overall we had a great time. Izzy went with us to the Keys. She thought we were going for her 2nd birthday. I just never denied it. No trip would be complete if we didn’t go to Robbie’s to feed the tarpon. No matter how many times we go, I still love feeding those fish! Michael holds Izzy just in case she gets confused and “walks” in! (I wouldn’t put it past her!) I am tired and ready for sleep in my own bed. Traveling is nice, but home is much better!

Spoons

When life is getting you down, the best thing to lift your spirits is to have a Girls Night Out. Well, in my case, it was a Girls Night In! Michael went out of town last weekend, so I was home alone. Some of my friends from work decided to come over to eat pizza and drink wine. We were suppose to go bowling, but never made it. We had too much fun laughing, playing games, and drinking. It has been awhile since I laughed so hard. Thank you Jackie, Tracy, and Reena for an adventure of a life time! The memories and the good times will continue long after that night!!!! Buzzzz!
